At Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney, our Corporate Volunteering Program offers a unique opportunity for your team to come together and make a real difference in the lives of families with seriously ill children. With hundreds of families staying at Ronald McDonald House Randwick each year, your team’s contribution will help keep sick kids close to their families while they receive vital medical care.

Corporate volunteering is a fantastic way to build stronger bonds among your team members while working together towards a shared goal. 2. Hands-On Impact:

Your team will get a first-hand look at the impact of their support by directly interacting with the families we serve. After an induction and a tour of our House, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Cook a Meal: Prepare breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner for the families staying with us, providing them with a comforting, home-cooked meal during a stressful time.

Help Keep Our House a Home: Assist with cleaning and maintaining the House, ensuring it remains a welcoming and supportive environment for all who stay here.

3. Diverse Programs to Choose From

We offer several programs designed to cater to different group sizes and interests:

  • HOME FOR DINNER: Your team can cook and serve meals for families, providing comfort and nourishment during a challenging time. These are usually held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • HIGH TEA: Your team can bake and serve a high tea for families which can include cakes, sausage rolls, sandwiches and even champagne. These are usually held every 2nd Tuesday.
  • BIG BREKKIE: Your team can have an early start to the date and wake up our families with the smell of bacon and eggs and a nice breakfast to serve before they head to the hospital. These are usually held every 2nd Tuesday.
  • WORKING BEE: Join us for a day of hands-on volunteering, which includes housekeeping, cleaning the House, gardening, putting furniture together organising pantry supplies or preparing care packs for families. These are usually held every 2nd Tuesday.
