The Ronald McDonald House Program gives families with an ill or injured child the best gift of all – their families. Our Houses is a warm and supportive home-away-from-home for families travelling to the Sydney Children’s Hospital for treatment.
For families with ill or injured kids requiring medical treatment in Sydney, the Ronald McDonald House Program provides them with quality supported accommodation 24/7, 365 days a year for as long or as often as they need.
Our Ronald McDonald Family Room Programs are welcoming spaces designed for families of children undergoing treatment in a nearby ward. Whether you’re visiting or staying with a child in the hospital, they offer much-needed respite from the clinical environment. Run by our friendly volunteers, these rooms provide a comfortable place to take a break, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, freshen up with a shower, or find a quiet spot for a nap. There are also dedicated play areas where the siblings of seriously ill children can have some fun.
In addition, local families are also welcome to use our Family Rooms, which are completely free to access.

The Ronald McDonald Learning Program (RMLP) aims to bridge the gap for school-aged students whose education is disrupted due to serious illness or injury.
Supporting children from kindergarten to Year 12, the program provides a range of educational services, including up to 40 hours of one-on-one tutoring and funding towards allied health intervention.
Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
