Your Weekday Warrior Experience

What to expect on the day of your Weekday Warrior!

365 nights a year, up to 31 families sleep at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick, coming and going to and from the Sydney Children’s Hospital each day to be close to their children when they are receiving vital treatment.

What your ‘Weekday Warrior’ Day will look like

To have the best experience, this is what your Weekday Warrior will look like:

9.00am – Arrival and Sign in

9.15am – Induction & House Tour

9.30am – Working Bee commences

12:30pm – Working Bee concludes

12.30pm – Lunch break 

1.30pm – Afternoon tea preparation commences

3.30pm – Afternoon Tea is served

5.00pm – Day concludes

Tea, coffee, water and soft drinks are available at the House and are complimentary, however you will need to provide your own morning tea if you wish to have these at the House on the day.

Your main champion in your organisation will have briefed you about this amazing and unforgettable experience. It’s really important that you complete the Volunteer Declaration Form prior to the due date set by your main champion.

Some important facts about the day

You will assist with basic housekeeping, gardening and basic maintenance of the House!

This amazing and unforgettable, hands-on experience provides an opportunity for team building, while you and your colleagues pay it forward to seriously ill children and families.
