Culture and Values

Support for families with seriously ill or injured children sits at the heart of everything we do. To offer the highest level of care to families, we make sure our own people feel empowered, supported, and able to bring their best each day.

At Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney, we work to create a space where families, staff, volunteers, and supporters feel welcomed, respected, and safe. Australia’s rich diversity across culture, religion, gender, and sexuality shapes who we are, and we aim for our people and programs to reflect and celebrate that diversity.

Our commitment to Reconciliation is ongoing and genuine, demonstrated through the successful completion of our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.

We believe that recognising and embracing diversity in the workplace ensures everyone feels valued for who they are.

Our range of People & Culture policies and intiatives focus on Work/Life Balance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Psychological Safety and Well-being.
